Top British holiday destinations for 2010
Flight comparison service, Skyscanner has published a list of the most
searched for flight destinations for holidays in 2010 among its seven
million monthly UK visitors.
Orlando is one the highest climbers compared to the same
period last year, up 12 places. Travel Editor Sam Baldwin comments: “The
[rise in] popularity of Orlando is primarily due to the new Harry Potter
theme park opening in the spring.”
The data was collected in the final quarter of 2009 for holidays being
planned in 2010 so provides an interesting insight into where Brits plan to
spend their holidays this year.
